Serviced apartments are a growing category of accommodation where a traveller can cater for herself/himself. Serviced apartments can be rented for 6 or more nights, and includes housekeeping, with towel and linen changes, at least once a week. Each apartment comes fully furnished, with a kitchen / kitchenette, and laundry facilities. This atmosphere allows for personal cooking in a private accomodation, leaving you feeling like you’re at a home away from home.

A typical apartment has a living space, bedroom(s), private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities.

What are the benefits of a serviced apartment over a hotel?

Serviced apartments are a refreshing accommodation alternative offering more space, comfort and freedom compared to a traditional hotel. For business travellers, they offer the required space and facilities to accomplish what needs to be done, and give ample space to relax in the after-hours. A serviced apartment can also be an ideal location to hold business meetings or entertain guests.

What payment options do you have and what are the terms/conditions?

Bank transfers and credit card transactions (extra handling fee applies).

Do you provide airport pick up services?

Yes, it can be pre-arranged for an extra fee.

Is there access to office facilities?

Many of our property sites have access to office facilities, look at the detailed information of individual apartments for information regarding the particular amenities.

How far are your properties from public transportation?

All of our properties are strategically located near public transportation facilities to allow guests easy access to anywhere in the city.

Can you provide babysitting and/or a baby cot?

Baby cots are subject to availability, and we do not provide any baby sitting services.

Can you provide dog walking?

Dog-walking can be pre-arranged for an extra fee.

What do I do if I do not receive a confirmation of my online reservation?

Please contact our sales department info@wfapartments.nl if you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours of your booking.

Is there someone I can contact 24/7 with any issues I have with the apartment?

Yes, we have a customer care line that allows access to someone 24/7.

Can extra beds be provided for visiting guests? Is there a fee?

Yes, single folded beds can be pre-arranged for an extra fee that is € 35,00 per night.

Is there a discounted rate for longer stays?

The longer you stay, the better the value becomes. Typically there will be a lower rate available for stays of more than 7 days and stays more than 28 nights. Please email info@wfapartments.nl for more detailed information.

How do I pay, and when do I pay?

We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, as well as bank transfers. Full payment is required at the time of booking for stays 6 weeks or less, unless otherwise agreed.

Am I charged if I pay by credit card?

There is a 5.5% fee for payments from credit cards.

Is the price shown per person?

The price you will be presented with will be the total price, having taken into account the number of people, the type of apartment and the length of stay.

How do I reserve an apartment? When is my booking confirmed?

Apartment reservations are always made through our sales team, (info@wfapartments.nl), and once the payment has been received, the conformation of the booking will be sent.

How / when will i receive my confirmation?

Your confirmation will be received through email, after the payment has been processed.

How many people can stay in 1 apartment?

It depends on the size of the apartment, but general maximum occupancy is the following :

  • Studio (2 Adults)
  • One-bedroom (2 Adults)
  • Two-bedroom (4 Adults)
  • Three-bedroom (5 Adults)
  • Four-bedroom (6 Adults)
  • Penthouse (6 Adults)

What is included in the rate?

It is very similar to a hotel, internet and all utilities are included and you only pay extra for excessive usage of the utilities.

Do you provide disabled facilities?

Unfortunately, our apartments are not easily accessible for disabled people.

What is the difference between a studio and a One bedroom apartment?

A studio apartment has a shared living and sleeping area, it is comparable to a large hotel room with a kitchen. Click here to see a typical layout. A One bedroom apartment has separate living and sleeping areas, kitchen and bathroom.

What is the difference between a serviced apartment and a furnished apartment?

A serviced apartment is a furnished apartment with additional services offered, such as housekeeping.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?

A € 300 security deposit is applicable.

When do I get my security deposit returned?

A deposit will be returned within 15 days if you leave the apartment clean and without damage.

Can I start my stay on any day of the week?

Yes, we acknowledge that your travel accommodation needs can be for any time period and try to cater to these needs.

I’m trying to book online, but the website says I can’t, what shall I do?

Contact our sales manager, and a response will be sent to you.

How can you offer such great rate?

Our vast scope and scale of operations allows us to give our customers the most competitive prices.

When will you take the payment?

The first invoice must be paid before you can receive your booking confirmation.

What taxes apply?

6% VAT for rentals, 21% VAT for other expenses and 5.5% Amsterdam City Tax.

How far in advance do I have to book my apartment?

There is no set amount of time you are required to book your reservation, but the further in advance the better.

How do I amend my reservation?

A flexible booking can be amended through contacting our sales department info@wfapartments.nl.

Do you have a minimum reservation period?

Yes, we require a stay of at least 6 nights.

How do I make a group reservation?

You can directly contact our sales department, or if you are a company, you can join our free corporate program to receive the benefits.

Is it possible to view an apartment before a reservation?

Yes, by appointment, but all apartments are subject to availability and can be adjusted until the day of check-in.

How do you handle private information from inquiries?

We are committed to protecting your privacy, we guarantee that we will not sell, trade, or otherwise provide your personal information to others. We only use the information we collect about you to process your inquiry.

What time can we check-in?

Check-in is from 16:00 to 22:00, earlier check-in can be arranged if the previous tenant has vacated the apartment with enough time for housekeeping. If you plan to arrive outside these times, please inform us in advance.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 11:00, but later check-out can be pre-arranged if the apartment is not booked that evening for a small extra fee.

How and where can I collect my keys?

The procedure for each city and apartment varies and instructions will be given to each customer prior to arrival, but a customer care representative will always be available to meet guests at the apartment for the check-in procedure.

Do you provide a hair dryer?

Yes, every apartment is equipped with a hairdryer

Are pets allowed?

Dogs and cats can be pre-arranged with an additional deposit and a nightly pet fee of € 10 a day.

What happens if I have a problem on arrival?

We have a 24/7 customer care line that you can call if you have any problems or concerns upon your arrival or during your stay.

What kitchen equipment will be in the apartment?

Apartment kitchens contain a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and there is access to laundry facilities in each apartment

Who pays for the utility bills and council tax?

Short term serviced apartments include the average costs of utilities, any excessive usage will be at the expense of the tenant

How is housekeeping and linen changes arranged?

They are done weekly.

Are the photos of the actual apartment I booked?

The photos are representative of apartments at each location.

Can I place an apartment on hold before I book it?

No, apartments are rented on a first come first serve basis, therefore an apartment is not officially booked until the payment has been received and the client has received a confirmation email, unless pre-arranged with the sales department

I want to make a booking for several months, will I have to pay the entire amount when I book the apartment?

No, if the stay is longer than 6 weeks separate invoices will be made monthly.

What happens if there is a problem with the apartment?

If a problem occurs during office hours (Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30), if outside of office hours, then we have a 24/7 customer careline to assist with any issues that may occur.
