A HOME… AWAY FROM HOME

Someone truly said…..”The first sure symptom of a mind in health, is rest of heart, and pleasure felt at home.”  Pleasures and palaces though we may roam, be it ever so humble , there’s no place like home. A charm from the skies seems to hallow us there, which seen through the world is never met with elsewhere…..there…..is no place like home!

Travel is fun and excitement; seeing unfamiliar sights refreshes the mind. Eating food at the restaurants is a good change. Vacations are enjoyable. Facing minor inconveniences of journey in sun and rain can be taken as adventure of sorts. Such experiences break the monotone of home-life. But, after some time, the novelty and excitement wears off. At the end of the day one longs to go back to the quite certainties of a home. There is a limit to one’s capacity to adjust to formal and regulated surroundings. One wants to return to the leisurely and warm surroundings of a home living. Continue reading →
